Learn about bats, their ecological importance, and what recent studies have shown about these local mammals. After a presentation indoors at the museum, walk to the covered bridge to look for roosting bats. Reps from the Illinois Bat Conservation Program will be there with special technology to detect and identify bats by their calls.
