Join CCAS for a guided bird walk led by volunteer Dr. Michael Ward at Weaver Park, focusing on trying to detect difficult-to-find rail and sparrow species. Weaver Park is an ecological gem that is a unique habitat within the confines of Champaign-Urbana. Plans are currently being developed to construct athletic fields in the park (learn more on the Urbana Park District website), so we want to give everyone a chance to appreciate and enjoy the natural areas as they are now.
